Weekly web design business resources I run across. I have several for you this week, I hope you enjoy. • Josh Pigford of The Apple Blog gives us 30 Apps to Run your Business By.
• The Best Logo details Six Things a Good Company Logo Design Must Have.
• Tech Magazine writes the Full Web 2.0 API List. Every developer looking to integrate technologies needs API’s so this list should come in handy.
• Designer Daily provides us with 10 lists every good designer should bookmark.
• Now this one is a bit old, but worth sharing. Typetester has a cool tool to allow the Comparison of Fonts for the Screen. Very useful.
• Lastly, and this one isn’t specifically web design related but it is really cool. Microsoft Live Labs has something called Photosynth. A pretty cool 3D space type photo gallery. Very cool.

• Sara Pacopac of Blue Jar writes about 15 Unique Ways to Advertise Your Website Offline. Some very nice ways. Time to start advertising your website offline too!
• Richard Ziade of Sketchcasting presents a quick sketchcast titled Value vs. Complexity & the Product Management Trap. This is a great starter video covering managing products. Very applicable to those web design companies who are thinking about launching a web application.
• Webmaster-Source provides us with 47 CSS Tutorials, Techniques and Resources. As website designers and developers we can never have too many CSS resources.

When starting a web design business finding resources and websites that help your business can be tough. • Freelance Switch always offers very nice advice and 10 Essential Free or Cheap Ways to Market Your Freelance Work is no different.
• Seth Godin asks Is good enough enough? A nice short article on marketing.
• Webappers presents us with 30 HTML Email Templates and Plain Text Templates. These are actually resources of Campaign Monitor, but since I found them at Webappers, they deserve the link.
• David Airey presents a nice list of resources for typography in an article titled “Typography Resources“. As a designer, I am increasingly finding more typography education is crucial.

• WebAppers presents a Javascript progress bar. A nice progress bar using CSS and 2 images (with a little interaction from Javascript).
• Neil Patel of Quick Sprout asks “What Does Your Business Card Say About You?“.
• CSS Juice gives everyone who is hooked on Web 2.0 trends a collection of 13 Online Generators for Web 2.0. Go get your fix for web 2.0 logo generators to button generators and even to stripe generators.
• Leo Babauta on Freelance Switch gives us 46 Must-Read Productivity Tips for Freelancers. Very good advice!
