Google Trends:
As I have read recently this is a MUST BOOKMARK for anyone concerned with PR (see yours with this lookup tool) and SEO. I have to agree it is quite nice to see how search terms compare. I already did a few test searches for curiosity’s sake: Here are my results:
ASP.net vs PHP
Javascript vs AJAX
Internet Explorer vs Firefox
I am sure you’ll see some interesting trends there

Wordpress Video Plugin:
Often times it is difficult to post video in your blogs. I am suprised I never ran into a plugin like this before, but a friend of mine wrote it and it looks pretty cool. Hopefully everyone who posts video links can benefit from it.
Compatible video formats: WMV

Reflection.js:
This is a pretty cool Javascript and CSS executed script that will automatically reflect the image. If you do not have time to edit all your own images this might come in handy. I would recommend doing it yourself, but if you are in a pinch and time is not on your side then by all means use this neat ‘cheat’.

Sphere:
I can see this search site doing very well and being very good for niche type searches. It searches blogs! If you haven’t heard of it - go give it a spin and of course submit your blog (see bottom of their site).

Veerle’s blog | The XHTML/CSS template phase of my new blog, part 2:
I have used a similar (Sliding Doors) technique before and have been asked how I did it. Spend a bit of time and read this article. Veerle has concisely explained how she did it with her own site. I recommend trying it out. Don’t just read it, make one of your own and try it out, play with it until you get it right. Once you learn this technique you will have a cross browser supported rollover, no flicker or image loading problems, as the image was loaded already.
