Introducing Cork’d:
(source: SimpleBits)

I am not much of a wine drinker and that is simple due to not knowing anything about it.  While reading my daily news feeds I saw this site being introduced by Dan Cenderholm.  He created Cork’d with Dan Benjamin for quite a great and unique thing.  This is going to be perfect for people like me as well as wine pro’s.  Here is the basic gist of Cork’d directly form Dan’s introduction:

The basic gist of Cork’d is this: after painlessly creating a free account, you’re able to keep track of wines you’ve tried in your Wine Jounal. You can rate, review and tag wines (more on that below), and these “tasting notes” end up attatched as comments to each wine in our database. You can also build a Shopping List of wines you’d like to buy (think of this like you would a Netflix queue), and a Wine Cellar for wines that you own. Keeping track of what your friends are tasting is as easy as adding them as a Drinking Buddy. You can also recommend wines to your buddies after you’ve rated and reviewed a bottle.

So why not give it a try.  Till then… Stay Focused (especially if drinking)!

5 Steps to CSS Heaven:
(source: digg)

This is a nice 5 point article with some tips on organzing and implementing your CSS.  It has a great introductory analogy which fits.  Hopefully you’ll glean at least one tip from those 5 to help you styling, writing, and organizing your CSS more effectively.  I will do a followup write up similar to this on my own personal style which you will hopefully also find some techniques to use.

Evolution of Dance:

This video is the funniest 6 minutes you’ll ever see.  If you are anything like me and in your late 20’s, early 20’s, or early 30’s the dances in this video will not only look familiar but you’ll see things you have done.  Sit back and enjoy a good laugh.  The guy doing this is not on funny, but real good.  Pay close attention to his transitions based on the new music and dance move.  Enjoy!

Web gets more listeners than AM/FM:
(source: digg)

Quite an interesting set of statistics from Virgin.  Keep in mind this article is specifically for Lodon and surrounding area.  But it demands that a question be asked.  Do you listen to things on the web MORE than you listen to things on the radio?

Personally I listen to the radio only on the way to and from work most of the time I am either listening to a podcast, watching a videocast or listening to my playlist from downloaded CD’s.  However, lately the radio has been put on hold while I listen to a book on tape in the car to and from work.  I think I am one of those who listens to more on the web than the radio.  How about you?
